At KarCabs, we strive to provide a seamless and reliable taxi booking experience. However, we understand that plans can change. Below is our cancellation and refund policy to ensure a fair process for both riders and drivers.
1. Cancellation Policy
1.1 Cancellation by the Rider
- Before Ride Confirmation: You can cancel your booking without any charges before a driver is assigned.
- After Ride Confirmation: If you cancel after a driver has been assigned, a cancellation fee may apply.
- Driver Arrived & Waiting: If you cancel after the driver has reached the pickup location, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
- No-Show: If you do not board the taxi within the stipulated wait time, the ride will be canceled, and a no-show fee may apply.
1.2 Cancellation by the Driver
- If the driver cancels the ride due to unforeseen circumstances, we will attempt to assign another driver. If no driver is available, the ride will be canceled without any charges.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 Refund Eligibility
- Cancellation Before Driver Assignment: Full refund, if applicable.
- Charged Cancellation Fee: No refund of the cancellation fee.
- Payment Errors/Duplicate Payments: If you were charged incorrectly, please contact our support team, and we will process the refund after verification.
2.2 Refund Processing
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 5-7 business days through the original payment method.
- If the refund is delayed, please check with your bank or payment provider.
3. Special Cases & Disputes
- If you believe you were charged unfairly, you can raise a dispute within 48 hours of the ride completion or cancellation.
- KarCabs reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time.
